The truth about what it is made of, the quality of the fabric? It’s a good thing—a very good thing—that as children of one heavenly Father, we will come out in the wash all right. The waters of baptism take out all the not-so-good stuff, and the blood of the Savior cleans us up better than ever—forever. That’s good news. PRAYER: Lord, thank You that though our sins are like scarlet, Your blood washes us white as snow. I praise You, Lord, for Your unending goodness and mercy to me. Hallelujah! Amen.

Thank You for creating me to fellowship with You, the eternal Jehovah God.

In our spiritual swimming, it is more difficult to move along when we are going on our own steam—uphill, against the flow, doing things our own way. We can get a lot farther, a lot quicker, with a lot less effort, by going in the direction the Lord has planned for us. Today I would like to remember to take the easy way out—let God be in charge, and go with the flow.
